GunnDawg Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 So I dont have a joystick quite yet. However, I do have a ch products flight yoke, and rudder peddals. Now I doubt I'd be able to play this game with that, but I was wondering if anyone has managed to play the game with a flight yoke instead of a joystick.. If it means anything, I am able to fly helicopters in FSX (Flight Simulator X) just fine with a yoke.
Jeevz Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 If you can fly the FSX helicopters with it you can probably manage the Ka-50. It's obviously not the ideal setup but I don't think this helo is any harder than those. It's probably easier what with the autopilot assists. Be sure to map the trim button.
GunnDawg Posted December 21, 2008 Author Posted December 21, 2008 Yeah I'll be able to map out the trim quite nicely, and I'll be able to operate the TV screen view using a mini joystick it has on the yoke :)

Map your throttle to the collective and use the yoke as your cyclic. it will work for a while till you get a stick Ask Jesus for Forgiveness before you takeoff :pilotfly:!
