  1. LOL well that explains why I couldn't find it last night :D Thanks for the link.
  2. Mission Editor: Set an IP for JTAC to reference? So I figured out how to get JTAC into a mission but when I call for a 9 line the first 3 lines always come up as N/A. I tried naming waypoints in my flight plan but that didn't help. Anyone know how to set the IP that JTACs reference when giving briefs?
  3. The Sues and the Mig29 have double bars in the HUD radar display for friendlies and on the cockpit radar display enemies are triangles and friendlies are circles, I'm not 100% sure if there are "unknowns" or not in FC2.
  4. This happened on the SimHQ BS server over the weekend. Tunguska SAM takes the tail right off the chopper but the only cockpit warning was that my INS was out. The master caution didn't even light up :megalol: Anyway, I managed to fly it 25km and decided not to land it on the FARP so I wouldn't leave a flaming wreck on the helipad if I crashed. So close...
  5. I managed to smack the tail with the rotors yesterday. I'd gotten myself into a vortex ring, so I nosed down to fly out of it but in doing that I was too close to the ground so I hauled back on the cyclic and collective trying to climb out of it and heard a BANG! I was thinking, "there go my rotors" and I was reaching for ctrl+eee when I realized I was still flying. I flipped to F2 view and there was a big chunk missing from the front of the tail but the rotors were fine. Even finished the mission, Russians build those birds tough.
  6. Also when you fist enter the cockpit from the fly button the sounds are coming from the external view. If you F2 out to external then back to the cockpit with F1 it restores cockpit sounds.
  7. If you can fly the FSX helicopters with it you can probably manage the Ka-50. It's obviously not the ideal setup but I don't think this helo is any harder than those. It's probably easier what with the autopilot assists. Be sure to map the trim button.
  8. Check your TIR software and make sure "True View" is checked for your profile.
  9. I watched the Producer's note about it and I've seen them in the loadout screen but I haven't tried any bombing yet. When I overfly a target I usually end up riding the silk elevator if I can get out in time so bombs have been pretty low on my weapon choice list.
  10. Enter is lock target. Weapon release is right alt + Space
  11. You only need to hold O if you want the Shkval designator to move with the HMS. You have to release O to ground stabilize the Shkval. Then you slew (;,./ keys) it over the target adjust gates and lock the target with Enter. Alternatively you can look where you want the Shkval to go and just tap O to ground stabilize the Shkval where the HMS is.
  12. When I send the wingman out on recce he sends anything he finds back on the datalink, AA targets included. Until they shoot him down :music_whistling:
  13. Running it on Vista Ultimate 32 and it runs great. I get about 20-25 more frames by enabling the second core.
