Board for making a TM/Virpil grip

I'm starting to design my own grip for a Virpil base.

Is there any available board that would be compatible? Or do I need to cannibalize a TM or Virpil grip board?

Hello, I have the schematic if you want to DIY it.

 

I can't find the board from one of my Cougars so I  need one too. If there's interest, I could make the board layout and have them made (there's a 5 piece MOQ)

So it's only made of shift registers?? There isn't any microcontroller in the Warthog/Virpils?

This is just the grip PCB. You have to connect it to the Cougar base or an alternative controller like an Arduino, see this project:

Look here in this thread. There are also boards mentioned which have 24 or even more functions. You can get the eagle files and do them by your own or you can order them.

There is also another guy which offers shift registers , which are completely ready to use (second link).

Depends on where (corner of the world) you live can order PCB from OSPark, Debelestis upload there layout for 8, 16, 24, 32* button CD4021 Shift Register boards.

*Can chain boards for more buttons, e.g. four for 128.

Or download the file for DIY, order the PCB from another PCB service.

An detail to observe, you need a USB controller with support for CD4021 Shift Register, e.g. Freejoy and MMjoy2 firmwares for STM32f103 and Arduino PRO Micro, Micro Teensy 2.0, ++2.0 cards.

Thrustmaster base and custom stick.. 

in joy.cpl the buttons are not working and flickering...

i use debolestis print 8 register 1 10k resistor and CD4021BE.. 

can someone help me on that? dis there a difference between 4021 chips?

What about twist axis? Like the throttle on a collective. How do they make that work.

Walmis's VP Force shift register boards are already stocked with chips and only cost like 10Eur.. they're also the smallest footprint at 20x45mm. Multiple can be daisy chained together if you want more than 32 buttons
