gulredrel Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 Hello, I don't know, if the track is useful. I did a field takeoff, climb, high speed run and than landed and refueled to land on the carrier and take off again. In Landing steering mode I had strange things. There was no velocity vector on the HUD. TACAN steering command on HUD and VDI were also reversed? Dashed line on the wrong side versus solid line. Goal was 64° radial to go 67X into Kobuleti. Anyone else having issues like this? Thanks Jens F-14A_no_VV_on_HUD_TACAN_HUD_reversed.trk
IronMike Posted June 2, 2022 Posted June 2, 2022 Keep in mind, the solid line in the VDI does not get dashed, but changes color from black to white. I could not reproduce on my end. gulredrel Posted June 2, 2022 Author Posted June 2, 2022 Thanks for checking the track. Just had a short flight and VV was present in landing mode and TACAN line behaved normal. Last time it did not change from solid to dashed on the HUD when going from roughly towards the station to going away, but somewhat 90 degree off of that. Was definitely weird. Maybe is was something strange cause the game was paused for a long time before I resumed flight. I guess, we will never know.
