Reverb G2 image flickering Falklands

So I noticed this problem before, while on the carrier, the picture sometimes flicker, one eye goes black for a second, and so on. I thought this is not a problem, because once I took off from the carrier, the flickering stopped. Sometimes the picture goes black midflight for a milisecond or so, but that I thought was normal. And doesn't bother me that much.

Today, I wanted to explore the Falkland Island a bit, and took of from an airfield on it. Shortly after taking off the picture heavily starts flickering, as I'm on an aircraft carrier. This heavily disturbed my experience, and was pretty annoying!

I tested starting mid flight, on differnet maps. No flickering.

Maybe the falkland map has to do with this? I couldn't test starting on an airfield on other maps, but will do tomorrow!

Anyone observed similar behaviour?

Edit: I just discoverd, that I'm not the only one with this problem, It seems to be a problem with the map! Hopefully they can fix it!

Yes, it must be a problem with the map, I've experienced flickering too with a Quest 2.

There are bug reports in the map section of the forum.

Try to turn off the mirrors as a workaround. ("m" key)
