No F14 available in carrier mission editor

I am building a carrier mission and want to use the F-14 Tomcat, but the type menu does not list the F-14. Why is that? Do I need to use a specific carrier or a specific map?

 

Only six carriers are listed and available. The Vinson, Roosevelt, Lincoln, Washington, Stennis and Truman.

 

I have the F-14 and the Supercarrier, but I am unable to build a mission where the F-14 is Cold and Dark.

Thank you for your help. Your suggestion solved my issue. I just discovered the user manual and I should be able to understand the Mission Editor better.
