Macka Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Running 8.12s at the moment no probs. Except crossfire seems to do squat. Had problems with the 8.10 hotfix versions where lost all interior of cockpit although the vanilla 8.10 was ok. 8.11s were randomly dodgy with the mountain textures for me. Running 2x sapphire 4850s on vista. :) There we were....two against a thousand.....so what'd we do....Shotem' both!!!! Intel core I5-9600, GB RTX 2080TI@2050Mhz, Asus ROG Strix Z390, 32GB G.Skill ddr4 3000 Ram. 40" Philips 4K monitor, HP Reverb, Vive Pro, Rift CV1, TMWH and SimXperience Motion Sim, Lime green jocks, Jack Daniels 1770, 2 packs Marlborough, etc etc etc...:megalol:
MainSail Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 I'm also running the 8.12 (not sure its the s) for vista64 drivers. Works fine over here, no problems so far. I have the 3870X2 and both cores are working within BS. Win10-X64, I5,-8600K oc-4,8Ghz, 16GB DDR4, MSI RTX 2080ti, HOTAS Warthog, MFG crosswind pedals, KW-908 Jetseat , HTC Vive with lens mod.

I have the 3870X2 and both cores are working within BS. Are you sure both cores are active in BS? How can you tell? I ask because I am running a 4850X2 in Vista 32 with the 8.12s and I only have 1 core active (like the other poster). -- ASRock Z370 Gaming K6 | Intel 8600K @ 5.0| 16 GB DDR4 3000 | nVidia GTX 1080Ti | Samsung 850 Pro 512GB M.2 | TrackIR 5 | Rift CV1 | TM HOTAS Warthog | Win 10 x64 |
MainSail Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 You can use a utility called GPU-Z . I wil try to post a screenshot a bit later. Win10-X64, I5,-8600K oc-4,8Ghz, 16GB DDR4, MSI RTX 2080ti, HOTAS Warthog, MFG crosswind pedals, KW-908 Jetseat , HTC Vive with lens mod.

Macka Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 (edited) I get usage stats similar to above but when doing a real world FPS on a benchmark track, I get exactly same fps with crossfire enabled or disabled and also with second card physically removed from system hence it does squat for my system (annoying since i bought the card for BS). Usually test on 8x aa and 8x af @1920x1200 res and also use GPU_Z for logging. It may just be my system and not the game or drivers.....have given up trying to sort it, have settled with 35-60 fps ingame anyway.....its just this innate need for speed....thirst for burst......bleedin to be leadin' !!!! :) :) Edited December 26, 2008 by Macka There we were....two against a thousand.....so what'd we do....Shotem' both!!!!
