Ah ok, yes that makes more sense. I know three idea had been around since forever. It works definitely be neat, especially if you could set your items defaults (since the module ones are, at best, pseudo-sensible for three TMWH and little else. Not having to convince two dozen airplanes that, no, I don't want to use button 1 on half a dozen devices to fire weapons, especially not on my rudder pedals, would save a non-trivial amount of time.

The problem there would rather be to strictly, harshly, and - above all - retroactively enforce an input naming scheme for a set of default controls that all modules must adhere to. I can see the module makers breaking out in cold sweats already. 😁

I wish Eagle had done that from the beginning.

The P-47 and P-51 arming panels Left/Right/Belly arming conventions could use some standardization. The panels in the planes are very similar but the keymapping they used is not uniform. The P-51 has keys mapped for it, the P-47 does not have any key strokes mapped at all, I had to figure out if I could use in-game keystrokes from the Mustang Left wing bomb arming and use some for the P-47 left wing arming... The Mosquito also has L/R/Belly bomb arming, dearming keybinds.  This is what happens when your developers are not given a specific template of things that should be repeated from similar aircraft layouts and controls to make our jobs of programming our HOTAS easier.
