Mispunt Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 I am leaning towards Saitek's as I have an X52 set already and it might(?) make the whole setup less prone to conflicts. Plus of course the spacing and being able to adjust the tension are great extras. However CH products has a very good rep when it comes to quality I believe, Saitek less so. Including driver support which has been somewhat marginal for Vista. Anyway is build quality something I need to worry about and has Saitek gotten it's act together with their (beta)Vista drivers? Thanks.

RedTiger Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 I have the Saitek ones, you will appreciate the spacing. That being said, I'm kinda looking at my watch waiting for them them to stop working. I have an older build version that is prone to have the pedals slip off the tracks if I put some weight on them the wrong way. I have to unscrew about 20 screws in the bottom to fix this. The newer produced ones have had this flaw fixed IIRC. Mine still work perfectly, I'm just not going to be surprised if they stop working. It will be shame since I probably won't want to buy another set but I prefer the wider spacing.
