Creating a new Flight Plan

I'm able to create a new flight plan save it to the Data Base but how do you activate it so the craft will fly the waypoints. When I press the route button the craft fly's the original flight plan not my new one.

Are you editing the flight plan in the ABRIS? If so you have to know that the autopilot uses the flightplan from the PNK navigation computer, which you can access and edit via the PVI keyboard on the right panel. The autopilot cannot follow an ABRIS route.
