RTS354 Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Hey Dudes, I recently purchased the WinWing Libra joystick base, and I was not impressed in the way that the cams worked. I couldn't get rid of the clicking sound when moving through the center of the joystick base. So, I decided to learn Fusion 360 and then I designed my own cams that didn't have the spilt in the center of the cams. I have already installed the cams and they work perfectly. I am sharing the .STL file so that you can make your own or have an online company 3D print it for you. If you are making the cams with metal, such as aluminum, make sure you polish and then lube all contact points before installing the cam. If you are using nylon, you only need to lube them. IMPORTANT: Make sure you use MM as the unit of measurement. The size of the cam is 42.69 × 41.74 × 8.13 mm, and you will need four of them, two for each axis of the joystick base. I used https://craftcloud3d.com/ to print these out in aluminum. It cost me about $60 for four of the cams. I made a video which shows the protype cams installed and how they work: https://youtu.be/MzRzYLexzR4 Enjoy, Rick Joystick Cam v2.stl 1
