I recently upgraded my CPU from a 10700k to a 5800X3D.

However, with the new CPU/Motherboard, I now have the issue that the installation process for the G2/WMR gets stuck on a screen that says "Hang tight while we finish up some downloading" (see screenshot)

I already waited for 2 hours and I can see in the task manager that the PC isn't downloading nor writing anything on the SSD.

I also already tried a complete re-install of windows but I get stuck during the same point of the WMR set up.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get passed this issue?

Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Nevermind… I finally got the WMR software to install after I removed the AMD chipset drivers.

yikes...

I'd put those back after the install but try to keep it super clean...  like do a custom install and make sure you only install drivers and not extra bloat ware if they include any.  Being AMD I suspect they won't but just in case.  that said...  maybe windows update had newer ones but I tend to not trust MS supplied chipset drivers.
