16th Widowmakr Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 After the latest patch I am unable to bring up the George AI interface! AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor 3.4 GHz 32 Gb RAM, Nvidea GTX 1050 TI Water Cooled, Windows 10 64 bit

Did the latest update change something? Apparently it works I just can't see the menu. AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor 3.4 GHz 32 Gb RAM, Nvidea GTX 1050 TI Water Cooled, Windows 10 64 bit
Floyd1212 Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 Yeah, unfortunately, each patch will overwrite the fix and you will have to modify the PrestonAI_page_common.lua file each time.
Floyd1212 Posted July 23, 2022 Posted July 23, 2022 @BIGNEWY Can you forward this to the dev team again? The solution seems to be simple, and just needs to be incorporated into the default PrestonAI_page_common.lua file. Adding the text boxed in yellow below fixes the problem for multi-monitor users. (Not sure if it has an impact on single-monitor users, though.)

Floyd1212 Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 The contents of the .lua file look good, but I just noticed your filename has a space at the end, after the word "common". Try correcting that and see if it works.

Floyd1212 Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 @BIGNEWY This is still a problem. The PrestonAI_page_common.lua still does not appear to have the corrected code after the previous patch, nor the patch that was released today. Thanks!
anzac Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Definitely still a problem: spent hours trying to work out why George interface not coming up. Using two monitors. Thanks. Apoll
Floyd1212 Posted September 21, 2022 Posted September 21, 2022 This appears to be fixed with today's patch. I looked at the PrestonAI_page_common.lua file that I normally have to modify after each release to get George working again, and I noticed this section of code got re-written. I didn't modify anything and fired it up, and George is working. Thanks ED!
