Turning off Game modes icons?

How do i turn off the icons in the GameMode?

 

like the targeting reticles (the red ones) and the diamond icons? D:

I found a brute force way to turn the icons off in easy avionics mode.

 

Find the file arcade_template_hud.lua in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Scripts\Aircrafts\Ka-50\Cockpit\ARCADE and rename it. This will remove the target icons but it also disables labels. I'm sure you can get rid of the icons without breaking labels by editing the file but I'm not the guy that's gonna figure that one out ;-)

 

Some people on these forums are offended that an "arcade mode" was included. I for one enjoy flying in game mode with a gamepad and trackir. Right now my time is very limited and this way I can enjoy the tactical aspect of the sim without the huge time investment.
