Shrubbo Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 Sweet hannibal, your graphics card will struggle a bit maybe. I went from a 8800gt to a gtx260 but that was before I got the TH2G. With the TH2G there is a firmware update so it can now do 3x1680x1050 but be warned... your monitors must be able to handle 57hz to do this. Else you will be like me and be limited to 3x1440x900 x60hz. Hardly a sad state of affairs but it was still annoying. There testing tool will say of your hardware will handle those resolutions but it doesn't actually test your monitors. Heh this I found out after :) BTW all the monitors must be the same res' for the TH2G. Anyway some links that you may find handy. http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/ http://www.imk.cx/pc/widescreenfixer/ Makes games like COD4 work with extremely large fields of view :) i9-9900K,Z390 Aorus Master, 32GB GSkill Trident F4-3600 DDR4, ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti, Oculus Rift S. hannibal Posted January 8, 2009 Author Posted January 8, 2009 hey big shrubbs...thanks for the tid bits.. i am aware of the details for the TH2G... i hope my monitors work... i have 3x Acer x203w... someone in the other forums said the x223w does work, and it is just a different size compared to x203w.. before i even bought the monitors, i was going to do the urze setup..(17" 4:3 aspects on the sides, and 22' 16:9 aspect in the middle), but realizing that i might get TH2G later on, i went for 3x widescreens...i just didnt know about the 57Hz at the time.. owe well. i will try out this matrox thing this weekend... find me on steam! username: Hannibal_A101A http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197969447179
