HMD Align by Spudknocker video question

Hello,

Sorry if it was asked before.

I am watching Cold Start Video  

I did the HMD align (first part in the video) using Cage Button (holding C on keyboard) and it says READY.

Then he says about aligning two little crosses using Throttle Designator Controller (Enter). When I press ENTER, nothing happens. How do I get to that screen? Or do I need to at all? 

I am using Trackir5.

You misunderstood him on the TDC usage.  You are trying to TDC DEPRESS, you need to TDC SLEW (move) the small crosses.  Bindings for that are under "Throttle Designator Controller - Down/Up/Left/Right" and I think the defaults are period (.), semi-colon (;), comma (,), and forward slash (/).

Thank you but I cannot get to that screen/display with 2 little crosses. That is my problem and question.

You have to look directly at the hud. If your looking slightly lower, which is the default view setting, the hud blanks out. Look up a little bit.

OK, progress as I got two little crosses on the screen but how do I move them and what do I press after they line up?

 

Ok, now I got little crosses lined up but pressing cage C button toggles between x/y and roll alignment. How do I get out of this mode? Crosses are aligned already.
