sobe Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 I wonder if we will be able to hot swap the MFDs between pits like what was recently done for the Apache? Rainmaker Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 You are going to have to expand on what you mean but… Displays between front and rear are independent as far as what is chosen to be displayed
sobe Posted August 7, 2022 Author Posted August 7, 2022 For those not using the Apache, the problem before the latest update was that you could not put the pilot MFD view ports in the same location as the CPG MFD view ports. Now you can so when you switch back and forth, you get the correct MFDs. Rainmaker Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 The only real restriction on the -15E as far as display selection goes is that the AG radar page cannot be selected on an MPCD as the page is incompatible with color displays. Other than that, you are free to set them up as you wish with the exception of a few select modes where certain displays are hard-coded to display. 1
sobe Posted August 7, 2022 Author Posted August 7, 2022 Rainmaker Perhaps I did not explain my issue clearly. The solution was explained for the Apache by BenqEnobe on Discord as follows: The fix they have put in place means that is no longer required to add individual exports for each of the 4 MFD cases e.g. AH_64D_LEFT_MFCD_PLT etc. As such the issue of having two overlaid MFD exports in the same x/y position has gone away. You can revert your monitor config to just include RIGHT_MFCD and LEFT_MFCD and the content of those exports dynamically displays the relevant MFDs of the selected seating position in real time. So my question is: Will we be able to have 3 different MFDs for the pilot cockpit and 4 different MFDs for the wso cockpit so we can hot swap cockpits in single player? Oh, i think I get what you mean. To answer the last part, yes. I believe that is already displayed in some of the tutorial videos that Notso has already done. Or someone has done. There has been rear seat displays shown at some point. Edited August 8, 2022 by Rainmaker 2
