JG14_Smil Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Hello, love the forums here. I was curious as to why the something seemingly mundane as cockpit lighting would be on the cyclic joystick as in the real Ka-50 stick. thanks if anyone knows. Cary
H-street Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 i imagine they probably fly with them off, especially when tracking a target or doing nightvision track etc.. the light button is a real quick way to illuminate your guages to check them.. just a guess but that would be my suspicion
Kula66 Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Perhaps they have to refer to the manual alot! "Now, is it <RCtrl><LShift><A> or <RCtrl><RShift><A> ... I know, I'll pop the light on and check the manual ..." 1

crazysundog Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 It probably saves trying to find switches behind your elbow in the dark!! I know I've mapped mine to my stick for that very reason.
