Downloaded my copy yesterday. I'd just like to say thanks to everyone involved in this awesome sim. Black Shark is great, and it's obvious all the work that has gone in to building something you can expand on well into the future. I feel like we'll be taken care of for a while to come, the hardcore among us. I haven't had the "thrill" detail factor from a sim that I get from this one since F4, even with the existing bugs.

Thanks ED! Keep up the awesome work.

It is amazing to hear so many positive things and post about game. So use to other games and hearing the trash talking. This speaks loudly how good of a job the devs did.

It definitely is a nice change to hear such praise. I just unsubscribed to Age of Conan about a month ago. Those boards are full of people making death threats ... :D

I think it has a lot to do with the customer base here. We're just a more mature group of people over all. Hats off to ED ... and to YOU!

I can say there has been a lot of great fixed wing sims but i am a big Heli fan and have been waiting for something like this for a long time. I just wish now i could afford pedals.

pedals

I'm sure somebody else has done this before, but I should mention it if people don't know. I own a USB logitech steering wheel with pedals, the "wingman" model. I've seen them for sale for under $50 used. The pedals work perfectly for helis in all sims I've played. The pedals need to plug in to the steering wheel, but I just stick the wheel away somewhere under my desk.

The only real downside is that they are obviously smaller than real pedals, and not linked with one another in a true rudder configuration. But both pedals are spring-loaded, and return to a "center" position on their own, so they may as well be linked. For a cheap rudder control substitute, it's great, and works perfectly with Black Shark, and helis in FS too.

Ya its not a bad idea but im gonna try to find a deal on CH or Saitek . I know used is not the way to go but sometimes thats all i can afford. But you never know.
