sobe Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 I had three flame outs yesterday. I note that this seems to be a common issue in the forums. What is the best method of flying to avoid this problem? Trackir4 using the latest Trackir 5 software, Win10 Pro [Creator Update] updated from Win7Pro Pro 64Bit, Intel® Core™ i5-2500 3.30 GHz 6M Intel Smart Cache LGA115 , GigaByte GA-Z68XP-UD4 Intel Z68 Chipset DDR3 16GB Ram, GTX MSI Gaming 1060 [6 GB] Video Card, Main Monitor 1 on left 1920x1080 Touchscreen Monitor 2 on right 1920x1080 .
MiG21bisFishbedL Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 (edited) Don't leave the aircraft in a position where it's experiencing 0 G's. Negative G's are not recommended but, no G's even worse. You're disrupting the fuel injection with the changes in G-force. It can handle it positive, not so much negative, and not at all in absence of G force. Don't break 1300kph or Mach 2.1~ (Whichever you arrive at first) as you'll over speed the intake's capacity to slow the air down for combustion. That's it! It's easy. EDIT: added explanations Edited August 23, 2022 by MiG21bisFishbedL 2 Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!
okopanja Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 I can not stress this enough: read the manual. 2 2 Condition: green
Krez Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 You can flame out if you come out of AB with AOA. Level out then come out of AB.
