Sunshadow Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 (edited) Hi! Currently I've mounted my HOTAS with some Monstertech holders at my desk. The desk is my main workplace so I have to remove everything all the time. I am not really satisfied with the mounts, because you can't stack them with attached devices like throttle or panels in any way. No I'm wondering if there aren't some better solutions. One idea would be to make two stackable boxes (with a removable cover) containing the left and right side cockpit panels/throttle. One side of the box could be attached to the desk by a screw clamp and on the underside could be a T-stand for stability. The two boxes would be stackable. Not sure about the stability with the T-stand. Maybe someone has better ideas how to build some modular stackable and removable cockpit parts. LASooner Posted September 7, 2022 Posted September 7, 2022 I'm mounting my panels and throttles on a free standing box made of 2020 extrusion rails, it's wide enough and heavy enough it doesn't need to be attached to the desk to be a stable platform. I can tuck them away during the work day. obviously everybody's space limitations are different. I use Virpil mount for my upfront controls and joystick.Sent from my Samsung Chromebook Plus using Tapatalk 1 F-14B, F-16, F-18C, A-10C, F-5E, F-86, FC3, BF-109, FW-190, P-51, Spitfire, UH-1,AJS-37 Viggen, MIG-15, MIG-19, MIG-21, AV-8B Harrier, P-47D Persian Gulf, Caucuses, NTTR, Normandy, The Channel, Syria Combined Arms, WWII Assets,Super Carrier TM Warthog, Virpil VFX,BuddyFox UFC, Saitek Pro Flight quadrant & Switch Panel, Odyssey+ VR, Jet Pad w/ SSA, Voice Attack w/Viacom Pro GeForce RTX2080TI OC, Intel Core i7-7700K 4.5Ghz, 64GB DDR4, Dedicated 1TB SSD
