I give head tracker a go and I go cheap and use an iPhone app together with OpenTrack. As a noob and started in VR, I have a lot of question:

1. Is there a way to "center" the view like in VR?

2. The apps can adjust the sensitivity and offset, if I want to turn to look over the shoulder without eyes-off the monitor, what should I do?

3. Is there any way to "zoom in" without using the keys/hotas?

4. Any tips for using headtracking in cinematics?

5. Any guide for head tracker on DCS?

Thanks.

One cannot go around not saying "Thank you" every time these days, can't you?

1. Options. Add joystick button or keybind (which then can be used in VoiceAttack).

2. Options, adjust curves. And, escapes my head, but you can change some of the curves to use 180 degrees instead of 90 etc. Don't be afraid to test, and you'll find what you like best.

3. DON'T! Or use a very limited curve on the Z AXIS. VERY sensitive. But try it. I did, switched back immediately. Use this for zoom axis in DCS. Must manually select it IIRC.

4. Make another profile with other curves. Changes are instant.

5. GR has a guide on how to setup OpenTrack for first use. I used that as my initial starting point.

Hope this helps!

Cheers!
