Then we can add the Bahama Islands, Cuba (Cold war), South Florida, and the Bahamas. The maps can be 1960's during the Cuban missle crisis. The redfor and blufor forces would have lots of fun. Mike Force Team Posted September 25, 2022 Author Posted September 25, 2022 Right now, we have the mig-21 and the huey. Soon, we will have the f-4. Additionally, ED has shown us b-52 WIP screenshots. We have many aircraft that fit quite nicely in a cold war Cuban Missile Crisis map. 1
Dragon1-1 Posted September 25, 2022 Posted September 25, 2022 1960 Caribbean sounds like a good idea, aside from Cuban Missile Crisis there was also the Bay of Pigs invasion, in which the A-26 Invader played a role on both sides. If we ever get the Invader (and we should, since it served, with a few changes, from mid-WWII to Vietnam), such a map could go really well with it.
Mike Force Team Posted September 26, 2022 Author Posted September 26, 2022 @Dragon1-1 I agree. I know that Mig-17 is being developed, which could be used in a Cuban Missle Crisis setting. Add in the A-1 and a naval fleet and we have unlimited opportunities to create our own historic events. MFT
