Blacky123 Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 (edited) Hi all, Just a quick newbie question, I want to reverse the axis on my X-52 throttle so it feels a bit more like a real helicopter collective when I use it, and I'm having a bit of trouble. I thought that ticking the invert box in the axis tune area would do the trick but what happens is I go from dead stop to full power almost instantaneously. Do I have to use the SST software to get it to work? I've had this sim for about two weeks and am absolutely hooked, i've never played anything like it :D I'm so amazed that people can create something so complicated that is gonna keep me challenged and entertained for years to come and only charge $49 USD for it  Thanks for any help Edited January 6, 2009 by Blacky123
SuDepp Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Nope, it should work like U discribed.... Hmm.... did U clear all maped buttons for the X52 within BS? My joystick works as meant to be - inverted..... xxvintersorgxx Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Mine also works correctly by ticking the invert button. try clearing the axis first. reset it as you'd like, and then go into Axis Tune or whatever its called and tick invert. then move your throttle back and forth adn see if the red box moves along the line
Blacky123 Posted January 6, 2009 Author Posted January 6, 2009 I thought I had, maybe I missed some? I'll check again, thanks
Blacky123 Posted January 6, 2009 Author Posted January 6, 2009 Thanks guys, had a quick check and realized that I had assigned the throttle to my z axis as well, and that's what I was trying to invert. Cleared that and inverted my "flight control collective" instead and it works like a dream.
