TEMPEST.114 Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 I'd like to write a script that generates random sea traffic that travels to/from ports, but I'm struggling to find anything in the scripting engine or mission editor that specifies ports/harbours. Is the only way to do this manually creating trigger zones per map?
Hairdo1-1 Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 I’ve found most of the water at ports isn’t deep enough for bigger ships so you need to have the traffic spawn outside of it. I accomplish this by using moose spawn
Grimes Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 No. Outside of specific world objects on each map there is nothing in the context of a port. Across the different maps there aren't a ton of them to exist to begin with, so manually figuring it out purely from traveling from point A to point B its not to bad. Just gotta worry about navigation and sea depth. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
