Binding HOTAS and Joy Stick

I new to DCS, Can I key bind the same Joy stick and HOTAS for 2 different aircraft? For example, F18C and the F14B? I realize the differences, but for game play is it possible.

Yes, in DCS each aircraft has separate keybinds. So, the reverse question: once you bind say the Hornet, those same bindings can't be automatically copied over to the Tomcat, you have to redo them from scratch.
