m1tp2king Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 hi. i need some help with chaff and flare. i am flying the SU27. what are the key presses for chaff. for flare. is chaff for radar missiles? is flare for thermal missiles? how effective are they? do they help greatly with avoiding a missile impact?

Just now, m1tp2king said: do they help greatly with avoiding a missile impact? It depends, as above. Few flares may be good against an AIM-9B but won't be effective against an AIM-9X for example.
