Dear Reflected,

Thank you once more for an amazing, realistic and very immersive campaign! I loved the briefings in the cockpit, slowly working your way up to flight lead and the excitement and thrill of going into a dogfight and making it home (with or without a kill). All within a realistic setting where you need to fly using a compass and a map, carefully adjust RPM and boost to get the most out of the fuel available and fly and fight in terrible visibility. Flying on 'rodeo's' to reduce the number of enemy aircraft, escorting bombers high up or patrolling the English coast, excellent.

Everything works out and the amount of work an dedication shows even in the smallest of details;  thumbs up, building a relation with your mechanic and having a map with compass headings back to the airfield. The immersion was excellent, and you actually felt a bit saddened when someone did not return or during the conversation with the Station Commander in the outro.

I played (and read) The Big Show, played the Epsom campaign and I cannot wait for the Mosquito campaign to be released.

The end score:

  • 9 kills
  • 0 deaths
  • 1 botched landing at Biggin Hill (due to assymatric flap deployment after a wing got shot up)
  • 1 ditch in sea (engine failure due to a oil leak)
  • 1 belly land at hawkinge (engine failure due to a coolant leak)

Thank you again, and please keep us entertained with more!

Thank you Jordy for taking the time to leave this feedback, I really appreciate it. I’m very glad you enjoyed this campaign, I put a lot of effort in the little details and I’m glad they paid off.

9 kills 0 deaths is a very impressive result! Ditching in the Channel in the winter must have been tough though! 😉

Hi @Reflected

Thanks for this amazing campaign. Completed mine too, what a great experience.

Here my rough stats:

  • 13 kills (10 confirmed)
  • 0 deaths
  • 1 bail out (in the chanel somewhere in front of dunkirk)

The bail out was an impressive experience. I was badly hit by an Anton that crossed my flight path and I did not see coming, my engine was immediately on fire and I had to bail out. Most likely I was not long enough on sea rescue, I was not saved in anycase. So my career would have already ended there think was around sortie 4. But I flew it again (and had a pc crash to desktop while landing after the mission 🤣) From then everything went smooth.

3 kills seemd a bit strange to me, I had good shots at the enemy but it did not went down. During the fligh home I was awarded with the kill. But checking the briefing then it was stated, that the enemy had landed and left the plane, and It looked to me like this gave me the kill.

Whatever, the campaign was extremly immersive and I really felt sitting in this nice plane

Thanks again and now I can finally focus on mastering the Mossie to be ready for the upcoming Mossie campaign

Cheers
