Discounted or used TrackIR?

Hi ppl

 

Yes. In order to whip your buts even more in aircombat I have now decided to extend the experience to a TrackIR. But since I am a poor bast....d (no not cheap, poor ;)) I would like to ask you if anyone has or knows of any way to get discount on a TrackIR3 Pro? I could even settle for an used one.

 

Also. Except for 30$ and some fps. Is there any other difference between the Pro and regular one?

Hehe. That policy seems to be different for each company. My g/f, new at the job, thought she'd be nice and write down every thing she purchased on the company card. The reply she got is that she was too thorough?!? Next time just write office material they said. LOL

 

I could never be trusted with a card like that, LOMAC would run flawlessly if you know what I mean

I recommend you try eBay.

 

I recently came into possession of a TrackIR 1 thanks to my squad mate and good friend Cougar, and I have absolutely no complaints about its performance. The TR2 and TR3 are supposed to have a higher sensor resolution, but honestly I can't imagine head movement being much smother than it is with my TR1--you practically need to give yourself whiplash to outrun the sensor FPS. Unless you plan to upgrade to the vector expansion software, try finding an old cheap TR1 or TR2 on eBay to save some dough.
