cmbaviator
is it me or it seems that too much thrust is needed to taxi and maintain taxi ? Edited October 18, 2022 by cmbaviator
Bremspropeller
Idle is about 2900RPM, which is roughly 35% (which is really low). A good TLAR figure in the F1 to commence and keep taxiing is 5000RPM (which is about 60%). Seems okay'ish to me. Mind you a J79 will idle at around 67% (IIRC). Keep in mind that straight jets don't have a linear thrust-curve. The change between 90% and 100% RPM might actaully add roughly 50% of thrust. That's just a ballpark-figure, though. So ein Feuerball, JUNGE!
