preload radius

hi. in the options screen there is an option to set the preload radius. what does that do? currently it is set at 30000.

i have 64GB ram + Nvidia 1080 with 8GB

what should set it at?

From the DCS User Manual:

Quote

Sets the radius (in meters from user position) that terrain is preloaded. A larger setting reduces slowdowns due to hard disk swapping, but requires more RAM.
