epokha Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Greetings all! This may be a silly question, how do you uncage the ADI? I'm sure im following the correct start up procedures and when the time comes to uncage the backup ADI it just gives me the yellow cross with a green dot in the middle. I have tried pushing it in, grabing it, turning it.. nothing! There are the red flags on both the ADI and backup ADI. I'm definately turning on the SAI switch. I'm taking control in the accelerated startup training mission. Eeep. Any help would be greatly appreciated. epokha Posted January 9, 2009 Author Posted January 9, 2009 Cheers, It was the training mission. For some reason mouse wheel is set to zoom in/out. Other missions it turns the knob. Resolved! Frederf Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 By default the mouse (in my sim) was doing both cockpit manipulation and FOV adjustment. I changed it so FOV adjusted via MOUSE4+MOUSE_Z (button on my mouse and my mouse wheel) while cockpit knob turning is simply MOUSE_Z. This allows both uses with very good hands on use. I can't seem to get MOUSE_Z (without the modifier) to not adjust knobs in the cockpit so I have to be careful where I aim when I change FOV.
