It hasn't changed since the inception of the EA viper: The flame in the real world is more yellow, black, blue and white: I've thrown together a quick collage. The real afterburner effect and texture in daylight looks more like this:

feipan Posted October 25, 2022 Author Posted October 25, 2022 (edited) Drives my point further across that even between GE and PW afterburners in real life look a lot more similar to each other than what we have in DCS. As you can see there are different photos with different lighting conditions and the afterburners look all different to the graphics that we get. Edited October 25, 2022 by feipan
