Any way to decrease the gap between multiple infantry in the same group?

When I set them moving to a waypoint they form a huge, long queue, and if the waypoint is closer than the length of the queue then they never move in the back of the queue.

Can I tell them to form the queue with a shorter gap between each other?

I can't even change formation for them.

I don't believe there is (unless there's some variable in a .lua file that can be altered as a hack). Only option I can think is to change the formation from single line to V, abrest, etc. They may still be spread out, but could solve the problem with the back infantry not moving at all for shorter walks.

For some reason I am not able to select any formation. But thanks.

Not showing at all.

Does it matter that I'm using INFANTRY from the Blue Coalition Joint Forces group? Should I just use USA instead to get the formation to appear?

Working as expected, just select the waypoint, then in the right menu, click the drop-down TYPE and choose a formation, default is Off road - see attached image.

Hope it helps.

That's great, but you can't change the distance of ground units (inc vehicles) **IF** you still want them to be **ON ROAD** - ON ROAD & CUSTOM are mutually exclusive.

I'm advocating that they either aren't mutually exclusive, or if they are, then you should still be able to change the spacing but keep them 'ON ROAD'.

Also, even if I create them in a line (30 of them) when they start to move, they don't stay in formation (back ones jump the queue) and when they stop the stop back to the 60ft spacing regardless of how close they were when they spawned with CUSTOM setting.

Unless I'm doing something wrong.
