Serious?!?!   It's in the middle of the night here (10-31), I'm trying a night mission and than this.....I still got goosebumps and was very determined to get rid of my VR HMD.  Luckily I left the light on in my room...  damn that was spooky, and I hate stuff like that. 

Guess the idea to do a short hop to better get sleep afterwards was a stupid idea.

Would you care to elaborate please? 

If there's some sort of built in Halloween thing in the latest edition I'd like to know as I have younger children that also play DCS that I do not want exposed to such things, so would appreciate the heads up.

For me it was only some eerie sounds. Since I'm a total wimp concerning all "horror" stuff, it got me. It was discrete, so I was really listening hard what was going on with the AH-64 engines winding down, but that's exactly what eventually did get me, overly tiered, sleepless in the middle of the night. 

You might look around, there seem to be more Eastereggs around. Saw a picture of skeletons deck crew somewhere around here.

I have to admit... it was kind of unsettling when I didn't know it was coming from DCS at first.

I didn't even seem to record to creepiest stuff, but It will give you an idea of what I heard.

Yup, weird sounds in an aircraft are never a good thing, particularly when you've only got a single engine.
