How does Track IR 4 work outside the cockpit? I get the 6 degrees of freedom inside the cockpit, and from what I've seen it looks so cool I am thinking of getting one.

 

I don't just stay inside the cockpit, though. These type games offer scenery/shots that are just too beautiful to turn down, so I use F2 view, Arcade-Chase View (F4), Airport View (F11) and others to capture some of this beauty. I was just wondering how exactly Track IR 4 would work when in these other views (probably F2 or Arcade-Chase most often).

 

Is there any functionality? What is it if there is? Does it go dead until you again go to the F1 (cockpit) view?

 

Any help is appreciated!

it doesnt do anything but you can move the camera around with the hat switch or the mouse.
