CaptPickguard Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Setting countermeasures from the kneeboard seems to work properly, however when rearming, the greyed out sliders still seem to apply their values and override what I had entered in the kneeboard. I then need to turn my engine off again to correct my loadout. To reproduce: Setup countermeasures to something that is not the default for the mission Rearm a loadout of your choice Observe change in countermeasures even though the sliders are greyed out and should have no affect
TAIPAN_ Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 (edited) Getting the same problem since 2.8 Re-arm will change whatever countermeasures we preset on the kneeboard. In the attached screenshot I've set equal flares and chaff, however the re-arm window shows the incorrect countermeasures. Therefore once I re-arm it applies the countermeasures from the re-arm window and ignores the initial kneeboard settings. This is made worse by the fact that the re-arm screen sliders are locked, so we can't work around it. TAIPAN_ Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 (edited) Note when testing/reproducing - I noticed a case where the bug does not occur. In a single player mission setting the countermeasures in the mission file, re-arming does NOT overwrite them and works fine. But in multiplayer when setting them on the kneeboard then re-arming DOES overwrite. So it needs to be tested by manually changing them as a multiplayer client as well, not just in a single player mission.
