FA_Crazy-Canuck Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Anyone have any idea why the pitch control on my X52-pro is very touchy? My X45 did the same thing. I have tried the following. 1. Adjusted deadzones 2. Reinstalled Drivers 3. Removed any flight controls from in game setting applied to keyboard etc. 4. Adjusted curve in LOMAC When I intitially installed the drivers the stick was very accurate. It continues to be very accurate when I play IL2. I can't help but think there is a conflict between the in game settings and the SST Profile settings but I have not found the smoking gun.:joystick: Not a huge issue, only when I need to be accurate when going GUNS. Input is appreciated. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
A.S Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Happens if the mechanics (cross-joint and bearing, holding the stick) get worn out after while.. ...resulting is off-guidance at center. that new created shaky freespace knocks off sensor precisions. could be also other mech issues.... i have re-build my x52s in order to avoid these things...long story. if i hold the cone wiht my left hand the top of the stick does not move or shake AT ALL. in x52 vanilla it was elec prob (all of them) y axis was not as accurate in recentering as x axis...but was easily to fix by pressing or clipping any button u dont use donw (mfd button or whatever)..... FA_Crazy-Canuck Posted January 13, 2009 Author Posted January 13, 2009 Is it fact that you must delete stick axis references in the game keyboard settings as not to create a conflict with SST software? The stick is very accurate in IL2. My X45 did the same thing in Lock On. Which makes me believe I have a software conflict. I am open to any input. RVE-AS, to be clear, you suggest I hold down a key that is not programmed to reset while in game? Thanks for the help. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
A.S Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 no, that was for x52 ..you have x52pro what u can do is this...(it might help): .. unplug the joy go registry. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\DirectInput delete all "VID_06A3" entries (the whole folder left side) and plug stick back in.... FA_Crazy-Canuck Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 I will keep this suggestion in mind. I believe I have solved the problem with a great deal of messing around with shift, curve. Thanks again for your suggestions. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
