Chaya Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 Hello everyone, I encounter some problem and it's very irritating in game, i can't use knob anymore when i use my hp motion controller to use knob they are automaticly turning full to the right (and don't react to stick up/down/left). If i go in external camera mode, the camera turn around the plane like we use stick. Both left and right controller got the same issue. I encounter this problem only when using Open Composite, it work perfectly with Steam VR, openXR WMR but with lower FPS. (It work perfectly too with occulus quest 2 and the occulus runtime) Anyone can have an idea to fix this issue ? open composite configuration ? DCS mapping configuration ? Fly safe
Chaya Posted November 14, 2022 Author Posted November 14, 2022 It seems some people have an issue with it, there is a workaround in the issue comments (using an old library) https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR/-/issues/329
ldwater Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 (edited) Yep, I have the exact same issue. Didn't even realise there was a fix but thanks! Edit: Out of interest, does it fix the sticks so that they are useable like in SteamVR? Edited November 17, 2022 by ldwater

Edit: Out of interest, does it fix the sticks so that they are useable like in SteamVR? Yes this old version of opencomposite seems to consider hp motion controller as htc vive controller and it work (controller are slightly shift on the top but it's ok) It's an old version of opencomposite, got a lot of crash with max visual settings, so we have to make a choice: - Old implementation with lower graphics and functionnal controller - latest implementation with greater perf and stick stucked on right 1
markcam4 Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 Older version of the open composite also fixed for me. Thanks for the help in tracking down,
