equinox137 Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 Anybody with a WinWing Orion 2 throttle use curves on the thrust? If so, would you mind sharing your curve settings? My afterburner kicks in a little too early. Thanks
Phantom711 Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 (edited) You don‘t set that via a curve (even though you certainly could). Go to the winwing subforum here…there is a thread that explains how to set up your AB in simapp pro. Edited November 21, 2022 by Phantom711 vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Sedlo Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 The other option is to use this: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3315617/ It's a pretty cool tool, makes setting up profiles a breeze. My Youtube Channel MY DCS MISSIONS
MustangSally Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 Set your throttles as per Phantom711 Ryzen 9 7950X3D - MSI MAG X670E TomaHawk MB, ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 AIO 64gig Corsair DDR5@6000, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS Winwing Super Taurus, Orion2, TO / Combat panels, Collective with Topgun MIP Winwing Skywalker pedals, NLR Boeing Mil Edition Simpit, 55" Samsung Odyssey Ark, Trackir
rob10 Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 Ya, for setting up WinWing throttles follow the thread in Phantom711's post. You can get it pretty much dead on if you follow that and you won't be fooling around with the curves. The curves option may be your only option with other hardware.
Sedlo Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 Enlighten me, what's the drawback in the method I've used? Honest question, works well for me. My Youtube Channel MY DCS MISSIONS

Simappro programs the exact point on the throttle curve where A/B kicks in. Sorry but I found your way more complex then WW's. Sedlo Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 OK, I think I'm missing something... Is the SimAppPro detent the same for all aircraft? I've tried this method, but for example, the Mirage F1 burner kicks in way earlier than the Hornet one. Unless I've set it up wrong (which wouldn't be the first time). MustangSally Posted November 22, 2022 Posted November 22, 2022 Have you followed my tutorial? You can set up multiple Aircraft with different A/B settings 1 Ryzen 9 7950X3D - MSI MAG X670E TomaHawk MB, ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 AIO 64gig Corsair DDR5@6000, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS Winwing Super Taurus, Orion2, TO / Combat panels, Collective with Topgun MIP Winwing Skywalker pedals, NLR Boeing Mil Edition Simpit, 55" Samsung Odyssey Ark, Trackir
Sedlo Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 (edited) I read it, I didn’t do it for more than one yet. I was wondering does SimAppPro write the values to the config files in DCS, or does it work through the app itself while playing. As it is, I’ve got everything set for now but I might give it a go for my next module purchase Edited November 23, 2022 by Sedlo My Youtube Channel MY DCS MISSIONS
MustangSally Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 It writes the settings to the hardware. So if you want to change to different aircraft, you just open Simappro and activate another aircraft. You can have multiple aircraft but only one activated 1 Ryzen 9 7950X3D - MSI MAG X670E TomaHawk MB, ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 AIO 64gig Corsair DDR5@6000, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS Winwing Super Taurus, Orion2, TO / Combat panels, Collective with Topgun MIP Winwing Skywalker pedals, NLR Boeing Mil Edition Simpit, 55" Samsung Odyssey Ark, Trackir
