Recent AI changes cause them to frequently break the hard deck.

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

ED's recent improvements to the AI have changed their low level behavior so now they break the hard-deck more frequently and cause a termination of the engagement.

We have put in a fix which reduces the frequency of this occurrence however it can still occur on occasion as a hard deck violation is a valid kill.

You can also still break the hard deck so watch your altitude when engaging at low level.

ED have added the files into the repo for inclusion in the next patch update.

Thanks.

Noticed this a lot recently in campaigns. More specifically the Su-24/25's who would fly into the ground to avoid incoming threats.

finished the campaign, but I'll re-fly a few and give you some feedback. I guess I could do the practice missions to save some ingress egress time.

What is the situation now ?

I'm interested in buying this campaign for training. Is it still worth it (not money wise, but technicaly wise) ?
