A mission editor and/or script command could just push that task and the carrier group would turn onto that heading. e.g. 2 A player could order an AI aircraft onto a heading during an interception or to avoid entering a player controlled area. Please, this is a no-brainer for how useful this would be.
Tusky Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 (edited) I would also add a SPEED and ALTITUDE (for aircraft) to the ME action. In your case for carrier, you may want to have your carrier's speed low while in transit (i.e. map constraints) but to achieve the correct WOD (both direction and speed - 25-30kn), you may need to accelerate the ship. The new action should take that into account. In hindsight, this is a very useful feature for mission creators in general (not carrier operations only) and I wonder why this feature was not considered... Edited November 24, 2022 by Tusky
