How was the icing implemented?

I am experiencing weird behaviours with icing: the airplane gets icy even in non icing condition.

Is temperature the only parameter for the ice to appear? because in reality you need to be in a moist enviroment, rain, fog, a cloud, whatever, but in clear air, no matter the temperature you won't get any considerable ice buildup.

Icing is calculated according params given by DCS
