71st_Mastiff Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Thanks guys, I havnt completely abandonned this software. I was just going to leave it aside, until something new happened on the developpers side. I ll try redownloading the data file (I downloaded the setup.exe a few times already). The data file is a cab file, but it display on my pc as a winzip file, thats ok isnt it? I've got 2gig of ram. My paging file is set to custom : initial size 3070mb max size: 4092mb I ve setup the paging file to "system managed size" then rebooted. didnt change a thing. I ll try turning it off completely as well. Sounds more likely like a corrupted file, as all my other games work fine. Also give a list on your attachments I.E joystick, mouse, controlers, ext, ext, ext.... "any failure you meet, is never a defeat; merely a set up for a greater come back", W Forbes. ZaltysZ Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Aren't MD5 checksums provided at download page? If not, maybe someone can calculate and post them, so the question: is file corrupted or not?, could be answered quickly. Wir sehen uns in Walhalla.

Plum Posted January 19, 2009 Author Posted January 19, 2009 Ive got a logitech wingman extreme joystick, but again, works fine with fsx fs2004, IL-2, every soft I got really. Got Track IR 4 pro too, which again works fine with these sims. And just a normal dell optical mouse. Ive got dsl, not cable. I ve got spyware doctor with antivirus. Im still downloading the data1.cab again. But if this doesnt work, I ll turn antivirus off while I re download the files. (not ideal going online without it tho.) This game s better be worth it. lol u ll see Im gonna finally get it to run, just to crash a few minutes later.
