Audio sound sampling rate - stock files

Does anyone know? The original files are encrypted now so I can't take a peak. A followup question: are there some audio files in DCS that have a different sampling rate than the rest of the files?

OK, I'm not kidding. In C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Doc\Sounds\SoundModExample\Sounds\Effects\Animals there are cow ambient samples. And they are at sample rate 44100 Hz 16 bits per sample.
