Moxica Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 I have fairly recently discovered the excellent function of a modifier. It effectively doubles the amount of functions on my Hotas Warthog set. In addition, I would love to have some indication of the state of the modifier, On or off. Just a little hint somewhere... Please? Moxica Posted December 6, 2022 Author Posted December 6, 2022 Unless, of course, I use one of the two-way switches on the throttle. Could touch it with oculus glasses on, and feel the position. Didn't think of that until now. Will try. Thank you. PhoenixRising Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 I use the Warthog paddle switch as a modifier.

Foobar Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 Indeed, displaying the state of the modifier would help. I am experiencing strange behavior on my Logitech X56: it seems that DCS does not recognize the modifier when the game is started. However I figured out the workaround: go to Control Panel, open Joystick (Throttle) settings switch the modifier, e.g. from M1 position to M2 now go to DCS. Modifiers are now recognized. And the second issue: when I do Alt+Tab and then go back to DCS then the modifier is "lost". I need to turn modifier off and on otherwise wrong action is triggerred. Are you experiencing the same with Warthog?
Chic Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 I use VoiceAttack to play a sound file when a switch or modifier is active. Most commonly, I’ll use tones of varying frequencies just loud enough to hear without being distracting. You can also use VoiceAttack to prevent accidental activation of multiple switches/modifiers If you have more than one programmed.
