Well when I started doing the training missions the view was dead ahead and I could follow the mouse around and the camera would pan etc. etc.

now after doing to instant action and playing with views and zooming and such when I go into trainign the view goes right to the pilots legs or a panel and I can't really use the training at all...and on my joystick where i had a button that would automatically center my view it now goes right to the legs.

its a little frustrating and cannot figure it out..tried all the view keys in the manual and can't find one that will automatically get my trainign view to be how it was when I first installed.

I am not sure to be honest, a lot of people on here use head tracking systems like Track IR. If you have the cash and are really into sims/imersion I would strongly recomend you get one. Your head usually always ends up pointing in the same direction it did the previouse day (:D) and if not it has a reset button that returns the view to the one your asking.

Sorry I can't be more help, but I felt that if you weren't aware of such things you may wish to be.

Yeah I would love TrackIR also but I play on a nice 56" DLP tv...I bought it to be my main computer display and games look amazing on it. And as far as I know trackir is limited to about 3-4 feet.

Did you meant to put tiny TIR on that display? :D

(thou I think 3 feet is okay.)

You can put your tir with something like hanger under ceiling or even put it on your rear side. By all means, TIR is simmers' must.

Well, playing BS on my 50" PDP tv is so much great but I can't properly set my all peripherals, Rudder, FFB stick, tir, throttle, and additional throttle quad. Luckily I got 26" LCD monitor.

Yeah the TrackIR solution is great but not everyone can shell out the cheddar just yet.

There is a way to create views (in the cockpit) and map them to controls/keys. I did it once in LOMAC and I'm pretty sure you can do it in BS as well.

It's real helpful for a quick snap view of a cockpit instrument panel to remind yourself of the last position of a switch. Because if you zoom out all the way to get a full view of the cockpit, as awesome as it looks, I can barely see the HUD text let alone aim with it.

I'm actually about to create some snap views for myself. When I figure it out I'll post the steps.

The next thing I'd love to do is to use my multi-monitor setup so that, when I create a view of an instrument panel, I can have that view show up on my second monitor, so that it's just a quick glance to the right, rather than me losing my default viewing position for a brief amount of time.
