F16 custom binds/axis not saving

This is a really silly problem however is extremely frustrating... My keybinds for the F16 and my axis dont save... And whats worse it only appears to happen for the F16 (the mirage and the hornet's are always saved)...

It doesnt seem to matter where the files are saved --> savedgames/DCSopenbeta/Inputuserprofiles this is the location for my other aircraft

--> savedgames/DCSopenbeta/Config/Inpuit/F16C_50 this doesnt work either.

Any ideas how to make this work? I am not making any hardware changes or anything else I can think of...

Cheers.

I had this 'bug' sometimes ago, that I couldn't save from the configuration menu itself. But when I started into the aircraft, e.g. in a cold&dark situation parked on an airfield, then opened the controller configuration via ESC menu, then the settings were saved. Maybe worth a try. I am not quite sure how I got rid of the problem, but I think I made a copy and then deleted the user folder under savegames and let DCS build a fresh one and then copied the configuration data back from the saved old folder.
