the Strait of Hormuz

Hello, I want to suggest change the name of the map because it gives players hope of expanding the map and we know that will not be happening, "the Persian Gulf map" gives the impression for that while it is a small part of the Gulf And I suggest returning it to the old name of "the Strait of Hormuz" because is more realistic, What do you think?

It would confuse users, all for zero practical gain ... unless this is just a sarcastic way of asking for a larger map

I think it used to be called Strait of Hormuz...:-)

Yeah, it was, and it was a much better name, because that's what it covers. The rest of the gulf is about the same quality as Crimea and Ukrainian coast on the Caucasus map. I think they changed it exactly because it confuses people for marketing reasons.

you think very little of DCS users if you really believe that they purchase a map only because of its name, never bothering to check exactly what area it covers.

I said nothing about what I think of DCS users, I think very little of marketing people who come up with those names. Now, what they think of DCS users, that's another matter, but this presumes marketing people are capable of thinking.

Either way, I think the old name was better.
