Tracer not incindiary doing the damage.

On the new 44 API belts. 

The ammo with tracer seems to do much more damage than the one without. Even tho the only difference should be the lack of tracers.

Sadly I saved over the track. So I have to redo it. But I hit dozens of times without the tracer and the enemy got holy but flew on until I was out of ammo. While with tracer  a couple of hits wreck the German planes.  Often lighting them on fire.

It lines up. The tracer round they have modelled is the M20, which had a different composition and was a more effective round than the M8 API.
